Dezmond ''Dez'' Hatfield Wade was one of the major characters of Austin and Ally. He is an aspiring director, who is destined to be one when he's older. He filmed his best-friend, Austin Moon's song (which he stole), 'Double Take', and it got hundreds of reviews. After these events, he and Austin meet Ally and Trish, who (mainly Ally) is shocked when discovering that Austin stole her song. They soon become best-friends. Dez, on the other hand, tends to annoy, Trish, which really makes her mad, but Dez doesn't get and doesn't know what he's doing wrong. Though, through seasons of the show, they do tend to get a lot closer to each-other. He even films a horror/adventure/drama/action/thriller, Claws, Dun, Dun, Dun. Dez, also has other talents, such as tap-dancing.
He is also very loyal, and can keep his word no matter what. Dez is really kind, and thoughtful and can be a bit clueless at times. He seems to get the perceptive of people's feelings and can really get on everyone's nerves. His passion is already revealed as directing, and as a child he would dream of becoming one someday. In later life, he marries his girlfriend Carrie, after fancying her for months, and has a son called Dame Wade. He also had a crush on his favrioute celebrity, Selena Gomez in his childhood.
He is portrayed by Calum Worthy.
Dez was born around January 27-28th 1998, to Dennis and Donna Wade in Miami. Around Christmas time that year, they used to spoil him.
Dez is a very, nice, thoughful, clumsy and lovely boy with a heart of gold. At times he can be annoying and dumb, which causes his friends to go insane. Dez can be clueless, and childish when it comes to serious things. He is mainly the clown of Austin & Ally, and the loveable sidekick.
Physical Appearance Edit
Dez normally wears colorful clothes, which goes together with his personality. His clothes, do look like they come from the 80's. Their also kind of 'Disco-ey' in a way. Even many people have said this. His appearance represents, 'Happy' in a way, and that's how he is like. From the fourth series of Austin & Ally, his clothes start to go more serious (as of the series finale).
Dez can be seen in the audience as the gang sing their song.
